Description: The County of Georgetown, SC seeks proposals to provide Comprehensive Engineered Roadway Paving and Drainage for the Department of Public Services - Public Works Division. The Work Consists Of: regrading and resurfacing of 6 county roadways totaling approximately 3.75 miles throughout Georgetown County. Quantities for this project is approximately 46,000 square yards of Graded Aggregate Base Course (6" uniform), 20,000 cubic yards of Unclassified Excavation, 5,500 cubic yards of Borrow Excavation, 23.5 Acres of Clearing and Grubbing, 3,600 Tons of Hot Mix Asphalt Type C (150 lbs./square yard), and 7,500 linear feet of Reinforced Concrete Pipe. Description: The Georgetown County Public Services Department is soliciting proposals from qualified firms interested in contracting with the County to provide professional Roadway Services for local paving and projects using Road User Fees and C-Funds on County maintained roads. It is the intent of the county to use any resulting delivery contract as a means of obtaining Roadway Design and Engineering Services to provide the county with all services necessary to successfully bid and construct various projects in the most expeditious and economical manner once approved and funded by the road user fees and CTC. PROCUREMENT FOR: Construction of Recreational Tennis Courts
Pre-Bid Conference & Site Inspection: MANDATORY, Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at 10:00 AM (NIST Eastern), on site at Lambertown Park (See maps pages 2 and 3 of bid documents).
BID OPENING DATE & TIME: Wednesday, February 24, 2010 @ 3:30PM (NIST Eastern)
Description: The Georgetown County, SC Department of Parks and Recreation is soliciting sealed bids, which will be publicly opened, and read aloud for the construction of recreational tennis courts for public play. The project must include all labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete construction of two (2) adjacent, lighted, hard surface, double tennis courts, placed on a 120’ x 120’ paved surface at Lambertown Park, 1540 Dawhoo Lake Rd, Georgetown, SC (TMS# 01-1003-005-01-00). As an Alternate Item, the City of Georgetown, SC may elect to utilize this invitation for bid for the construction of an additional two (2) adjacent, lighted, hard surface, double tennis courts, which would be placed on a 120’ x 120’ paved surface at Front Street Park, 1600 W Front Street (corner of Front and Kiminski; TMS# 05-0023-053-06-00-00.), within the city limits of Georgetown, SC. These courts would replace the existing three (3) courts currently located at this site. The County of Georgetown is not acting as agent for the City of Georgetown, and any agreement for the construction of additional sites would be a separate agreement between the contractor and City. Costs and services proposed for the County would be the same for the City. Any additional services determined to be necessary would be negotiated directly the contractor and the City of Georgetown.
