VOLUNTARY Pre-Bid Conference/Site Inspection: Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at 11:00AM on site, at 11920 Gapway Road, Andrews, SC.
BID OPENING DATE & TIME: Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at 3:00 PM (Eastern NIST)

The project includes construction of a new hangar taxilane and apron for future hangars. The project has been divided into two phases (work areas) in order to minimize closure of runway 18-36. Initial phase work activities include stripping, excavation, pipe installation, placement and compaction of select backfill, installation of duct bank, and placement of stone base. The remaining phase work activities will include compaction and fine grading of aggregate base course, prime coat, paving operations, marking, shoulder grading and seeding, and mulching.
