Description; The Georgetown County Department of Public Services is soliciting sealed bids which will be publicly opened and read aloud to provide one (1) Portable Trough Incline Belt Conveyor for Sand Loading for the Environmental Services, Mosquito Control Division. The County operates a bulk sand mixing plant which introduces a mosquito larvacide to the sand mix, along with a drying agent. The dry sand is loaded into aircraft for aerial dispersal. The sand based product falls and penetrates brush and the leaf canopy to reach the ground. Mosquito Control seeks a portable roller/belt conveyor to lift bulk sand from ground level into the aircraft.
